A retired United States Army soldier, Eric Fikes brings twenty years of military service to CITE TSG, along with a civilian career in emergency management and responder training. He founded the company to deliver practical, standards-based training and readiness support to organizations that carry real operational risk — work spanning hazardous materials preparedness, emergency operations center readiness, and exercise design and evaluation.
Eric served twenty years in the United States Army before retiring, with his career centered on transportation and logistics operations. That service shaped how he thinks about readiness: movement, sustainment, and accountability under conditions where planning assumptions rarely survive contact.
Following his retirement from the Army, he moved into emergency management and responder training, supervising hazardous materials response instruction for first responders. His civilian work spans emergency operations center coordination, community preparedness and CERT programs, hazardous materials and CBRN readiness, and geospatial analysis supporting incident awareness and planning.
That combination — military logistics discipline and civilian responder instruction — shapes how CITE TSG builds curriculum. Courses are designed around the decisions people actually have to make under pressure, delivered by qualified instructors, and reinforced through exercises that test whether the training held.
He founded CITE TSG to give government agencies, public safety organizations, and critical infrastructure operators a training partner that treats readiness as an operational discipline rather than a compliance exercise.
