Privacy Policy
CITE Training & Support Group (“CITE TSG,” “we,” or “us”) operates this website at citetsg.com. This policy explains what information we collect through the site, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We keep this deliberately narrow and plain, because the site itself is deliberately simple.
Information you choose to give us
We collect information directly from you only when you enter it into a form on this site or send it to us by email or phone. There are two forms. The “Request Information” form asks for your name, organization, email address, an optional phone number, the type of support you are interested in, and your message. The instructor application form is described in the next section.
We use that information for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and to correspond with you about training, exercises, or support services. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for advertising. We do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.
Instructor and subject matter expert applications
If you apply to join our instructor roster, the application form asks for your name, email address, phone number, general location, the disciplines you deliver, your years of experience, your travel availability, the certifications and qualifications you hold, a description of your operational and instructional background, and an optional link to a professional profile. Providing this information is voluntary, and you may leave any optional field blank.
We store completed applications in a database we control so that we can review them properly rather than losing them in an inbox. Access is limited to CITE TSG personnel who are evaluating instructor qualifications. We use the information for one purpose: to assess your fit for current and anticipated training, exercise, and support work, and to contact you about it. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for advertising.
We record an internal review status and reviewer notes alongside your application, and we calculate an internal priority indicator from the qualifications you list so that we can work through applications in a defensible order. That indicator is an administrative sorting aid only. It is not an assessment of your competence, and it is not used to make a decision about you without human review.
Please do not attach résumés, certificates, transcripts, or credential documents to the application form. If we need them, we will ask you for them by email so that they are shared deliberately rather than by default.
Submitting an application does not create an employment or contractor relationship, and it is not an offer of work. You may ask us at any time to tell you what we hold, to correct it, or to withdraw your application and delete your record, using the contact details below.
Information collected automatically
This site does not use analytics software, advertising trackers, or cookies for tracking purposes. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not track you across other websites.
Like nearly all websites, the infrastructure that serves these pages records standard technical request data such as IP addresses, timestamps, and browser type. That data is generated and retained by our hosting and form providers for security, abuse prevention, and reliability purposes, and is described in the section below.
Service providers
We use a small number of third-party services to operate the site. Each one handles data under its own privacy terms:
- Vercel hosts and delivers this website. See the Vercel Privacy Policy.
- Resend delivers form submissions to our business email. See the Resend Privacy Policy.
- Supabase provides the database, hosted in the United States, in which instructor and subject matter expert applications are stored. See the Supabase Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts serves the typeface used on this site, which involves a request to Google’s servers when the page loads. See the Google Privacy Policy.
If we add analytics, scheduling, or other tools in the future, we will update this policy and the effective date above before or when those tools go live.
How long we keep information
We retain inquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond to your request and to maintain a reasonable business record of client and prospective client communications. You may ask us to delete your inquiry at any time using the contact details below, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it under a contract or applicable law.
We retain instructor and subject matter expert applications while we are actively considering you for work and, unless you ask us to remove your record sooner, for up to three years afterward. We keep them that long because contract awards and task orders in this field often arrive well after an application does, and a qualified instructor we cannot find again is of no use to anyone. If you withdraw your application we delete the record, retaining only what a contract or applicable law requires us to keep.
How we protect information
This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. Inquiry correspondence is handled in access-controlled business email and stored with our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
The application database is not readable from this website or by anyone on the open internet. It can only be reached through a password-protected internal interface, and the underlying records are closed to public access by default rather than by configuration we have to remember to apply.
Sensitive and controlled information
Please do not submit classified information, controlled unclassified information, protected health information, personally identifiable information about third parties, or any sensitive operational details through this website’s forms. This includes clearance details, government identification numbers, and specifics of protected exercises or operations on an instructor application. If your inquiry or your qualifications involve information of that nature, contact us first and we will arrange an appropriate channel for the discussion.
Children
This site is intended for professional and organizational audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
You can use this site without submitting any information. If you have submitted an inquiry or an instructor application, you may contact us to ask what we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law; we will honor valid requests under those laws.
External links
This site links to third-party resources, including government websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business grows or as the site changes. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page.
